Where could i find an example of a concept map of life?
Concept mapping is a technique for visualizing the relationships between different concepts. A concept map is a diagram showing the relationships in between concepts. Concepts are connected with labelled arrows, in a downward-branching hierarchical structure. The relationship between concepts is articulated in linking phrases, e.g., "gives rise to", "results in", "is required by," or "contributes to". Concept mapping serves several purposes. One, which takes place via knowledge elicitation, is to represent the mental models, i.e., the cognitive map of individuals, teams and organizations. Another, which takes place by knowledge capture, is to represent the structure of knowledge gleaned from written documents. The addition of knowledge resources, e.g., diagrams, reports, other concept maps, spreadsheets, etc., to the concept nodes (attached during or after construction) has been found to significantly improve the level of meaningful learning of the concept mapper. Educators are increasingly realising the utility of such maps and have started using them in the classroom.

Reply:Not sure why would some one "badly" need the concept map for life. But I guess what you mean by concept map is nothing but the mind map or the blueprint of various aspects/elements of life as a whole, especially the human life I guess. I have not come across as such any standard concept map so far, how ever, hindu scriptures are fantastic ageless, timeless blueprints of life that cover all dimensions like health, social systems, spritual systems, business systems, planet system etc. They go into details of scope of each of these systems. In general if I have to approach such a mind map, this is how I will go about:

a) dimensions focused internally on me as human being:

- my body system and its capabilities

- my mind system and its capabilities

- my behavior and personality

- my duties and karmas

- my spritual advancements

b) dimensions focused on external elements to me as human being

- social science

- ethics and moralities

- infrastructure and other worldly objects around us

- other life elements around us

- business relationships

- civil science

- space science

This list is I guess very limited and indicative only but hopefully could give you some indication or ideas to chew on. I'm sure can do a better job.
