I'M USING WIN 98 and copied to a cd some file/prgms. How do i put them back into my C (h drive).Can't seem to?

I also want a good free topographic map download. These are what I lost. Wher can I obtain them so I can download my Forerunner 201 GPS info to them and see where I hiked and ran. Not a very good computer tech person so please give good information. Thanks and have yourself a great day!!


Any mapping I can save to this computer and then save to a cd and put on my off line computer would be great!!!!!!!!!

To begin with, you dont just move or copy a program! It has to be installed on a PC! When you try to copy it, the original installation files arent there!

you copied ,file programs to a cd open the cd.window and right click the files


click on copy .then click on paste in the folder you copied .them from they will go back on to that folder


if it is windows.system files ,you cant copy they have to be installed


to install windows 98


put the cd in the drive and boot up from the cd then install windows 98 .to the c:\ windows


it takes 20min to do it
