Maths quadratic graph y=axsquared + bx + c?

can anyone tell me how to do a maths quadratic graph mind map? and also a real life example that may be represented by a quadratic graph. thank you.

To do a graph, select a range of x values, then plug them in to the equation to get the corresponding y value, and plot on a graph. For a quadratic, you are looking for either an arch shape or a 'U' shape.

A real life example may be making a rectangular field of maximum area when you have a fixed amount of fencing wire available.
