A decoder has four inputs A,B,C and D and one output X. The output X is high if majority of the inputs are 1s.

Pleas help

i) construct a truth table for the decoder.

ii) construct a karnaugh map to represent decoder outputs.

iii) get the simplified Boolean equation for the decoder.

iv) Draw the corresponding logic gate for the decoder

A decoder has four inputs A,B,C and D and one output X. The output X is high if majority of the inputs are 1s.
Ummmm.... let's see, 1 isn't a majority of 4, 2 isn't a majority of 4, 3..uh, yeah, 3 is a majority of 4. If 4 people are voting on an issue and 3 vote yes then the issue carries because 3 is a majority. Okay, now that we have that settled, check out the URLS below for info.
Reply:How do you define "majority"? Is it 3 inputs or 2 inputs or all inputs? The question is vague as "majority" has not been well-defined. 2 is not a majority nor a minority. Define it well first and then I will draw the truth table, Karnaugh map and also the circuit diagram. The question needs modification.
Reply:yes
