Metro lines in Washington D.C.?
You are right that you will get on either the orange or blue line (Orange toward New Carrollton, Blue toward Addison Road). You will get off at Federal Triangle, which stops right at the RR Trade Center.
There is an entrance, via a tunnel, from the station - but you can also go up the escalator and cross the beautiful plaza to get in the building. Know that while the address of the building is on PA ave, the main entrance is on 14th street, but there is indeed also an entrance at the metro.
Reply:Go to www.wmata.com for information. The closest Metro stops to the Ronald Reagan Building are Metro Center (Red, Orange, and Blue lines) and McPherson Square (Blue and Orange lines), but you still have to walk several blocks.
Reply:Looks like you are right! Foggy Bottom is the closest and appears I (eye) street is the path from where you are. Take the Blue line towards Largo Town Center and exit at Federal Triangle on the Blue Line. I'm unfamiliar with the approach to RRB from that station, but do know you can enter from 14th Street entrance....I'm sure there's an entrance from the Federal Triangle station...but can't say I've ever taken it myself.
Hope this helps!
