.
As Mother drove, Father studied the road map.
B.
As Mother drove Father studied the road map.
C.
Father studied the road map as, Mother drove.
D.
Father studied the road map, as Mother drove.
Choose the sentence that is correctly punctuated.?
The first sentence and the last one too are both correctly punctuated, mate, they both make the same sense and are fully acceptable.
If u have a doubt, u can use this sentence either,"While mother WAS DRIVING, father studied the road map." or this one too,"Father studied the road map while mother was driving."
Sentence B and C are definitely wrongly punctuated.
Hope it helps mate
Reply:I believe the correct answer is A
Reply:A
Reply:A
Reply:A is the best.
B is confusing. Without the comma we begin to think that father. is being driven (which may be true, but probably not the intention).
C is wrong, the comma makes no sense there.
D is OK, but the comma is not really necessary.
Also, I don't think you need capital M/Fs for Mother and Father.
Reply:A and D are actually the same. B is the correct answer--no coma is needed.
Reply:the answer is A
Reply:Answer A is correct.
Reply:As Mother drove, Father studied the road map.
and once again, you only need a question mark after your question, NO PERIOD!!!
Reply:I vote for the first one.
