When I was in out of the States, someone gave me this wonderful and easy "formula" that anyone can do in their head, to convert C degrees to F degrees. Although not perfectly acurate, it certainly was helpful when watching the local weather maps and planning for the day. Anyone know of this simple formula? Thank you!
What is the formula for converting C degrees into F degrees?
It is to double the C degrees then add 30. You're right, it's not exact, but pretty close for numbers that could be weather temperatures.
Reply:to get from Celsius to Fahrenheit
F=(9/5)*C+32
or
Begin by multiplying the Celsius temperature by 9.
Divide the answer by 5.
Now add 32
Reply:Celcius = (Farenheit-32)/1.8
or
Celcius = (Farenheit-32)*.56
Reply:c=(5/9xF)+32
