How did you view math in a logical way?

I mean I see math as numbers.I can't see them as a logical map.I can write C++ code and when I type something wrong I know it's not logical.It doesn't fit and it bothers me.How can I view math in the same way?Do you view it in a logical way?

How did you view math in a logical way?
I think the most important thing is to not let the ugly notation cloud your view of the basic principles behind what your learning. Usually the concepts are simple, it is the notation that confuses people

Having a geometrical way of looking at things allows you to see the what you should expect from a solution before you apply any algebra, also using analogies from previous material can help you to gain a more logical understanding of more difficult material.

The thing that helped me be able to read algebra more clearly was studying physics. Combining maths equations with real life situations that you already have a feel for, teaches you to have a feel for how equations work

for example in maths you study quadratics equations

y = c + bx + ax²

and in physics you study projectile motion

h = h0 + ut + ½gt²

so by understanding the physical situation, I can understand the mathematical situation more clearly by thinking of x as time, c as the initial height of a ball, b as its initial velocity and a is like gravity

So I can use my understanding of projectiles in motion to understand what the variables in a quadratic equation mean and what will happen if I change them, without doing any algebra at all.

I've found that the areas of maths that I have the best logical understanding of are the one's which I have applied to a real-life physical situation
