Linkage Problem?
Genes A and B are 6 map units apart, and A and C are 4 map units apart.
a. What gene is in the middle if B and C are 10 map units apart?
b. Which gene is in the middle if B and C are 2 map units apart?

Mapping a usb external drive on a server (windows 2003)?
Periodically, I have to install software and most of the sites have pcs in
the server room instead of under the desks. How do I map to the external hard
drive I have attached to the server so I can install the software on each pc?
The way I map to the c drive of the server is by entering the ip address and
then \c$ but I need to be able to map to the external drive letter as well.
Please advise. Thank you. Workgroups to do not apply here.

Question for people who have vacationed at the outer banks in NC....?
we are looking for a beach house for a week in the outer banks in NC this summer and we are trying to figure out which beach is the best. we want to be close to the beach, but have activities close by too. we'd like nice restaurant options, go karting, shopping, ya know, the regular beach activities.
should we stay in duck or corolla? is one better than another?
it's hard to tell on a map b/c even if they look close to shopping and activities, you never know if will take an hour to get somewhere.....

I haven't stayed at any of the towns along the outer banks but have done a day trip there. I found it quite lovely, different to the usual beach resorts alon the eastern coastline.

Reply:I reccomend staying in Duck. We've stayed in Duck for years every summer and much prefer it to staying in Nags Head or Kitty Hawk. It's a little off the beaten path, not directly on the main drag of the Outer Banks, but still close enough to shopping, restaurants, etc. You can pretty much get anywhere on the Outer Banks within 20 mins or so. Duck also is both on the bay side as well on the ocean, so if you prefer a little "less" ocean you can opt to swim at the bay. The current is much easier on children. Hope this helps.

You would get better luck going to Wrightsville Beach, or Carolina Beach or Myrtle Beach or any other beach really.

Every1 says that there is always a guy out there 4 u, but so far im just the guys hot best FRIEND. nothing more. ive gone out with these guys, but we break up b/c we r 2 good of friends. i think i need a guy out of my friendship circle. but do i need to look or let it find me? and if it needs to find me...i think it lost its map b/c nothing has happened

first of all sweety, next time it happens to u, ask the guy if he really likes u, if he feels anything about u... and if his answer is yes, but u guys are 2 good of friends, then let him know that the more they know each other the better, because he knows that before anything u r his friend and u will be there for him in the ups and the downs, and if he knows u at least a lil bit..... he knows u would try to do the best u can to never hurt him, and u r sure he would do the same for u. and second, yees!!! i think u should go out there and find some1... sometimes people come into our lives at the least expecteed minute... but sometimes we just have to go out there and find them, because otherwise we get frustrated and depressed.... not a good feeling. good luck sweety, and that means that u r a really great person to be able to make such really good friends with them boys.

This comes across as confidence which is attractive in women too. Don't be too available. Date on YOUR terms and when you want to, which may mean putting a potential boyfriend off for a while. If you see a guy you're interested in, feel free to go over and start a conversation. He may be too preoccupied for you to meet otherwise.
